What do the wives of NASCAR drivers do during races?
What do the wives of NASCAR drivers do during races? I’ve seen some of them on the pitbox, but not all of them.
Many of the wives/girlfriends chart each lap as to the position of where their guy is all race long. Used to be done in case the officials said so and so was a lap down, you could argue the point by showing them your scoring. Kinda stupid now as the scoring is done with a transponder read to computers. They still do it. Probably to keep the girls busy.
Many wives don’t want to watch the race live. May watch it on TV in their motor home, or not watch it at all in case of accidents. Hope that helps!

If they arent watching them from the pits then they watch them from their motorcoaches or home!!!

The ones that are not on the pit box, are watching from their motorcoaches or at home and they are praying for the safe return of their husband and a good finish. My dad used to race stock cars on dirt tracks and we were always there. It is scary to see someone you love involved in an incident.
