how many drivers are there per car in Nascar racing?
I have a friend that says that in Nascar the main driver must take a break and switch drivers. After they take a break, they continue the race. We have a bet going, please Help!
Just one. Your friend must be talking about other racing series, like Rolex.

Your fiend is very, very wrong its only 1 driver per car. So, it appears that you’ve won the bet.

My wonderful wonderful mind and experience I watch it like every sunday.
Your friend is wrong, there’s one driver through the race.
If the primary driver can’t go on, for an illness or other reason like that, they CAN go to a back up driver, but that doesn’t happen often.

One driver. You can change drivers but it rarely happens. It only occurs when a driver gets sick and can’t continue.

your friend is stupid. the drive stays in their car the entire race. some series like daytona prototypes they change drivers but definitely not in nascar.

most of the time, one driver per car
there have been cases where a driver has left his car and given to another driver, usually due to the first driver not being able to finish the race because of some sickness, like the stomach flu

Did your friend take some of Jeremy Mayfield’s allergy meds? Really, though, I thought everyone knew that one guy drives the car. Now, if a guy is violently ill, he might let someone take over, but that happens very rarely.
