How would I pursue a racing career in something such as F1?

I’ve always had a passion for racing, and it’s always come easy to me out on the track. My first time racing pro-rated go-karts, I qualified for racing professionally with ease and had better lap times than most of the local pros. I’ve never competed professionally, but I’ve always wanted to do F1 or one of it’s variants. I’m not looking to make a lot of money, just a steady career supporting myself doing what I’m good at and enjoy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well if you want to get paid a decent amount you need to go to events and race and see if you can find anyone to sponsor you… When you are sponsored you have many more options than being independent… So, I would recommend going to small events and try and find companies that may sponsor you.

Find a sponsor and they will help you with everything you need.

Kart is the way to go. It used to be formula ford, formula 3, etc… but now a lot of people are going straight from Kart to F1.
